92 – Love Letter To Melissa Reese & Duff McKagan

Melissa ReeseGuns N’ Roses

Alex fucks up the start of the show in the most “Chunks’ed up” way possible.  They recover quickly though as show friend Geoff is in studio with a big announcement, but first:  GUNS N’ ROSES!  Tommy and Alex went to see the big reunion show 25 years in the making.  Before they even get there though, Alex’s failed scheme to get one over on “dumb ass suckers” as he calls them almost wrecks the show. Plus, Tommy completely loses his mind and melts down during a rant.

A Love Letter to Duff McKagan & Melissa Reese

The Guns N’ Roses show was one of the best performances Tommy and Alex have ever seen, but they can’t seem to stop gushing about Duff and Melissa…but for very different reasons.  Besides being a cool overall guy (we interviewed him on the old show) he has an AMAZING body, and Tommy and Alex can’t stop gushing about him.  Tommy realizes what kind of woman he really wants to be with after researching Melissa Reese. Melissa is a genuine artist and Tommy reflects on how talented she is and how he wishes he could be that creative. Alex just gets mad that Tommy is moving in on his “GF”.  This segment is STRANGE, but oh so satisfying.

Geoff has a Girlfriend

Yep, Geoff has a girlfriend and Alex tries to immediately destroy his happy relationship with his “good advice about women”.  To get back at him for his stupidity, Tommy and Geoff proceed to give EVERY Game of Thrones spoiler EVER to Alex… who is 3 seasons behind. The segment is capped off with a call from the woman of the hour herself that DOES NOT disappoint.

84 – Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door

Courtney is back!
Show favorite Courtney is back in studio! But before they get to her, Tommy explains how it’s a hassle to even be friends with Alex as exampled with his latest story. Alex tried to tell an abortion joke at a Baby’s R Us. Was it funny? Did it go over well?! No, of course not. But Tommy and Courtney’s reactions are priceless.

Is she faking?Uncle Vinny
Alex takes the opportunity to ask Courtney her take on his neighbor that likes to have loud sex early in the morning. Risking betraying women everywhere, Courtney spills the beans on what different noises during sex mean, when they’re faking, and what you need to look out for if you try to “Knock on Heaven’s door” too quickly. You might also hear an embarrassing story or two that may or may NOT have actually happened (if anyone asks) from Tommy, Alex, & Courtney.

A New Career for Alex
Courtney says that she felt badly for only helping Alex’s girlfriend Phyllis with her advice last time… of course that advice was just listing off different men she’d be better off dating than Alex (including a convicted felon). To redeem herself, she prepared a few different career “opportunities” that she thinks Alex would be PERFECT for. Uncle Vinny calls in a few times with some suggestions of his own, and a few new jokes from his Joke U, university. Find out what a Bar Scarecrow is and more!

83 – Pec Deck

Matt's Wedding

Pill Poppin’ Tommy!

Tommy and Alex are a bit peeved at Ryan for again not showing up and giving us any notice about having previous plans.  He is replaced with a special guest.  Sadly Tommy and Alex are used to the new societal norm of showing up very late to everything or just not being reliable at all.  On a brighter note, pills fix all – at least in Tommy’s mind.  We recall the good old days in radio when listeners used to bring us pills and make us happy.

Alex’s new “roommate”

Tommy notes that the studio in Alex’s apartment smells like smoke due to the walls being so thin and Alex’s neighbor smoking like a champ.  Alex informs Tommy that his new “roommate” (a hot girl that moved in and has the misfortune of sharing a wall with Alex) likes to have early morning sex and the noises she makes are shocking.  You’ll want to hear Alex’s impression of “Wild Apache Warrior” sex as he calls it.

Alex vs. the Mentally Handicapped at the Gym

It’s common news that Alex is pretty much a waste of a human template, we’re not lying at all.  While complaining how his lazy workout at the gym isn’t helping him lose weight, he discloses the fact that he got into an altercation with none other than…a mentally handicapped person at the gym.  Tommy chastises Alex for always getting into these situations and that it’s his own fault which leads to Tommy and Alex doing some VERY hilarious role playing to see how Tommy would have handled the situation.

Guns N’ Roses

Before ending the show Tommy and Alex argue the benefits vs drawbacks of having shows move from network TV to streaming services, when Tommy throws in a seemingly simple question that starts a chain reaction of events- “How much would you pay to see your favorite band?” The show ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, as it’s just been announced that most of the original members of Guns and Roses are going to tour.  A once in a lifetime occurrence to see one of the greatest bands of all time.  You will be shocked to find out what the prices are.
