101 – Fired for 10 Years

Talon - Tony GuerraFired from WTKS and Pirates Porn!

Happy Anniversary!  Yeah, we start of reminiscing how it was 10 years to the day we got fired from our old show, and how some people JUST can’t give it up.  We do recall some old memories from the last days of the old show and a mishap involving Alex, a Pirates porn, and some strange old listeners calling in. You know the ones that went to jail for kiddie porn, as well as those that have passed on.

Hideout fans are the worst – Tommy has a stalker

Speaking of listeners, one of ours happens to have a really… REALLY strange obsession with Tommy including leaving him strange voice mails.  Also, a real discussion on whether or not you should approach a famous person when you see them in real life, and some famous celebrity sightings from Tommy and Alex including Vince Vaughn and former Redskin’s coach, Joe Gibbs.

All board the Hindenburg

Aas if there wasn’t enough craziness with the NDY listeners, Alex puts out an open call to email him (acorolla@gmail.com) any interesting life stories the listeners may have for a potential new show idea.  Tommy and Ryan immediately point out how this is going to go horribly, horribly wrong, with you as the listener getting to enjoy the fallout of Alex’s horrible idea!

100th Episdoe

One Hundred Episodes

We finally made it…  100 episodes!  You wouldn’t know it though by the way Alex AGAIN starts the show before anyone else was ready to actually START the show.  The show starts with some Real Radio 104.1 memories. Then Loyal listeners and show friends alike call in with their thoughts on NDY hitting 100!  Samantha Sam from A Mediocre Time with Tom & Dan proves a little to “honest”, while show friends Geoff & Courtney prove just how creepy Alex really is.  Thank you to James Gray from WPRK, Tyronne, Uncle Vinny, Number One NDY Fan and many more (even an old Hideout alum!)

The Fleshlight

Ryan disturbingly brings up the fact that since his wife’s been traveling a lot, he’s taken to a new lover… it’s a fleshlight.  It’s a dildo you put your dick into, and Ryan thinks it’s normal.  Incredulous, Tommy and Alex can only rebut in shock, as Ryan spills the dirty details of his dirty “dildo for dudes”

99 – Black Mesh Shorts

DreDon’t blame Gino/Gio the dog!
Alex delays the show and sours everyone after an hour delay in which he broke the equipment and tried to blame new show addition, Gino the dog.  Tyrone calls in with a few suggestions on what they should do with Alex.  Alex reveals a HORRIBLE thing he tricked his girlfriend to believing to save a few pennies on a car repair HE was responsible for.

Babies are gross
After Alex reveals what a horrible human being he is by calling a pregnant lady at the gym “gross”, Ryan reveals ALL of the horrors of having babies.  From tearing to afterbirth, to placentas and octomom porn, it’s not quite Halloween, but these TRUE stories we find out about childbirth are definitely horrific.

Harold and Tyrone
Though not on any specific segment, Harold and Tyrone are the stars of the show this week.  Find out who Tyrone wants to take over Alex’s spot on the show, be amazed at how Harold’s hatred of Alex’s car spurred him to start a new business (with special hours for Alex).

98 – Hey Alvin

fashionMatt’s Back!

Tommy and Ryan try to figure out the other guys name, that is, after he messes up the show intro again. Show friend, former Hideout third mic and writer and all around funny man has some audio that drives Alex/ Chunks/ Alvin insane. Tommy and Ryan also found a picture of Alex with his girlfriend and her friends on Instagram. They are disgusted by how he dresses in front of her friends. They try to figure out what food he’s eating in the photo while they critique his lack of fashion sense.

Alex to the future

Alex attempts to recap a story of confrontation with the cable guy when he lets slip that while checking his credit report, there was a mistake in his file that showed he opened an account in 1972 – eight years before he was even born.  While trying to continue with his story, Tommy and Ryan are convinced that he went back in time to stop various events that would have happened in 1972, complete with an Uncle Vinny CLASSIC call-in.

Cord Cutter
Finally, Alex gets to finish his recap of his battle with the cable company, and of course it doesn’t go easily.  They NDY crew then finishes off the show with a discussion of how American ISPs take advantage of paying customers, why do some straight men speak with an “effeminate sounding” lisp.

89 – Chunks Farley

Chris FarleyNude Dudes
The show takes an even worse turn as we jump into the topic of male nudity.  After Tommy calls out Alex for freaking out over any sort of male nudity on TV or in movies, Alex takes a completely crazy horrible turn and tries to justify how he’s straight with a story  involving Ryan Reynold’s and Alex in a recording room.

Twitter Followers and That Kevin James Dude
After taking an even darker turn in discussing which is worse, looking at Kevin James’ ass on TV or Lena Duhnam’s, Tommy reveals that Kevin James is in fact releasing a new show on CBS.  Ryan and Alex are shocked as the clips Tommy plays… well just aren’t funny.  Alex loses it as Tommy reveals how much Kevin James is worth and how good shows like Undateable and the Grinder get cancelled.  Alex demands to know how many twitter followers Kevin and Lena have, which leads to a guessing game of who has the most followers on Twitter.  Ellen, Kevin, Trump?  The top user might surprise you.  We round out the segment with some discussion on the best old sitcoms, and whether or not laugh tracks are substituted for bad writing on TV shows.

3 Fit Dudes
Alex is starting to bear a resemblance to Chris Farley, well not in the funny way, just the fat way.  Tommy and Ryan ask Alex his eating and workout routine.  As you can imagine, it’s pretty bad.  After Tommy and Ryan give a few “good” suggestions on what Alex should do, Tommy shares some pet peeves he has while interviewing people for jobs.  Take a listen and decide if YOU are a culprit of any of these rookie interviewee mistakes.

63 – It’s Artistic

Alex at workThe show starts off with goofiness throughout as Tommy, Ryan and Alex lose it during the intro laughing at their favorite show Big Time in Hollywood FL. They then quickly make a u-turn and begin to point out each other’s various flaws, starting off with Tommy being a social “two-face”, Ryan losing all ability to appreciate hot chicks due to his engagement, and Alex being a dirty, one suit wearing slob at work. Plus, we reminisce radio stories by looking at old photos of Alex.

True to form, Tommy and Ryan offer their usual “encouragement” when Alex is concerned that his eating habits, consisting of high amounts of complex carbs, aren’t helping him lose weight. Tommy is bewildered that people still like star wars, and how hot actresses turn into androgynous male/female hybrids when they get old…ugh. Plus an update with new show favorite Robert from Promotens.

55 – Coach You Ready?

Big Time In Hollywood FloridaNew Songs
Tommy starts off playing NEW songs about Alex and Ryan. Neither is happy about their new theme songs. The guys try to make Alex less negative by reading enlightening him with several Ryantology quotes. Plus, Alex was invited to be the announcer for a baseball game – a baseball game played by 5 year old kids. There was no audio equipment, and he almost crippled an older man. Luckily, we have audio of it all!

Big Time In Hollywood, FL
After the break, Tommy talks about his favorite new show Big Time In Hollywood, FL. Tommy loves the show and the guys accuse him of stalking one of the stars of the show. Find out why he loves the show so much!

Also this week, Tommy was a local high school. He wishes he could go back to High School. The guys reminisce about why High School was so great, plus their first sexual experiences. The show closes with Ryan’s “shitty” week. His dogs are making his life very difficult…

53 – “Curious Gays” by Chunks from the Hayaway

Tommy & Matt at EDBDTommy’s star treatment in Florida
Tommy is back from vacationing and doing radio work in Orlando, Florida. While he was there, he attended WJRR’s Earthday Birthday festival featuring Slash, Rise Against and Five Finger Death Punch. Alex is mad he wasn’t invited and Tommy rubs in his face the fact that he hung out with rock stars, Dickerman, Matt Albert and Tom and Dan. Tommy also rubs in the fact that everyone continues to call Alex by his old radio name, “Chunks.” Unfortunately, Tommy ended up in the hospital while on vacation… find out why.

Alex Defiles a Neighbor’s Apartment
Tommy talks about how he would pay extra for an airline that didn’t allow children and talks about the hellish trip back with a screaming baby and a juggalo. Then Alex talks about the time he almost died due to an allergic reaction and his father didn’t care. Uncle Vinny joins the show to talk about Alex’s book. Plus, Alex finally gets his tub fixed and then does the most disgusting, disrespectful thing ever in his neighbor’s apartment.

52 – Gazoo

gazooGazoo from the Hideout

Alex’s least favorite intern from the Hideout (when it was on Real Radio 104.1) joins the show. He gives an update on what he’s been doing since the show, what it was like working on the show and we recall some of his best/worst moments being on air.

Then the guys recap Ryan’s Engagement Party from the night before. By the end of the party, Tommy and an inappropriately dressed Alex had alienated everyone at the party, including family and friends. Plus, Ryan tells the guys what people were saying about them behind their backs. Do not miss this!

unclevinnyThe Corolla Family & A New Song
Last week, Tommy overheard Alex on the phone with his family. Tommy claims Alex was screaming at them and gladly re-enacts what he heard. Then Tommy reveals a new song that he thinks was written about Alex by Five Finger Death Punch. Plus, Alex’s uncles Joe and Vinny call in with a “deal” for the guys.

Orlando, Florida & Real Radio 104.1
The second half of the show has Tommy and Alex reminiscing about leaving WJFK, their trip down to Orlando to work at one of the greatest talk radio stations, Real Radio 104.1 WTKS ever with lots of behind-the-scenes stories and much more.
