144 – Dead Plant Corn Rows

Dead plant cornrowsTrue Bobby pt.2
Allison is still in VA visiting, so you lucky people get another in-studio podcast from the very talented comedian. Alex however, couldn’t care less, as he is worried that he won’t be able to get the new God of War game before the store closes. Allison was browsing some old NDY iTunes reviews, and the only non 5 star review they received came from someone named “True Bobby”. Tommy & Alex already dedicated an episode to their hate for this person, but it pales in comparison to the hate that Allison has for said individual, sorry True Bobby, we still hate you.

Men Have Broken The Glass Ceiling
Well, sort of. Tommy has a theory that there is equal pressure on men to look just as good as women these days, meaning the double standard is gone. Allison denies this, but Tommy and Alex provide some pretty compelling arguments to the contrary. ESPECIALLY in DC. If you want to hear about the truly messed up people, that take your hard earned tax dollars every April 15, and the type of people they like to date, then you’re in for a super treat.

Hideout Rewind #2

The RawkerAnother look back!

  • Tommy and Alex/Chunks argue about their apartment and interactions with 7-11 employees. Tommy is an arrogant ass.

  • A Fatman Diary about the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Featuring “The Rawker
  • PLUS, a VERY special guest, that has never been on the podcast, makes a surprise appearance at the end! Don’t miss this guest!

101 – Fired for 10 Years

Talon - Tony GuerraFired from WTKS and Pirates Porn!

Happy Anniversary!  Yeah, we start of reminiscing how it was 10 years to the day we got fired from our old show, and how some people JUST can’t give it up.  We do recall some old memories from the last days of the old show and a mishap involving Alex, a Pirates porn, and some strange old listeners calling in. You know the ones that went to jail for kiddie porn, as well as those that have passed on.

Hideout fans are the worst – Tommy has a stalker

Speaking of listeners, one of ours happens to have a really… REALLY strange obsession with Tommy including leaving him strange voice mails.  Also, a real discussion on whether or not you should approach a famous person when you see them in real life, and some famous celebrity sightings from Tommy and Alex including Vince Vaughn and former Redskin’s coach, Joe Gibbs.

All board the Hindenburg

Aas if there wasn’t enough craziness with the NDY listeners, Alex puts out an open call to email him (acorolla@gmail.com) any interesting life stories the listeners may have for a potential new show idea.  Tommy and Ryan immediately point out how this is going to go horribly, horribly wrong, with you as the listener getting to enjoy the fallout of Alex’s horrible idea!

20 – Welcome to DC

So Much ShowBIll Cosby

AM, from The DC AM joins us and the show is packed.

  • A quick behind the scenes discussion of podcasting and a quick gift exchange
  • Tommy hit on his dentist’s hot assistant and realizes the difference between what men & women find sexy – plus he plays “Would you rather” with her

Sadman and Welcome to DC?
Alex reads a Sadman diary about Mother’s Day. It involves gross things his mother says to him, trash and a pissed off roommate. Then AM gives the guys a really great, slightly angry, quiz about their hometown, Washington, DC. It is the funniest and most informative segment ever done on the DC area. Then we end with our favorite game… “Would you rather?”

Not Dead Yet – Show #4 “Catherine”

Another Woman in Studio!
Tommy’s hot friend Catherine joins the guys in studio. Then we are “treated” to a jean jacket fashion show from Alex. We delve in to online dating from match.com, Catherine’s love life and she recounts some of the worst guys she’s dated – and it drives Alex insane. Catherine also gives the male listeners some of her pet peeves when guys send her emails from online dating sites. Learn what not to do!

Batman Jean Jacket

The Sadman Diaries
Alex shares a diary entry where he was in CrossFit class with a woman he was hitting on and his (one of many) nemeses. Can he finally land a date and come out on top? Plus, what does Batman have to do with this story? Also, Tommy questions Alex on his refusal to make new friends, especially with women.

Not Dead Yet – The Anger Episode

AngerOne of the best shows yet.

Another third mic no shows, Alex has a new “family” member that Tommy makes fun of and Alex caves and does something he swore he would never do again – Plus, Tommy reads some of his emails from match.com.

In the Sadman Diaries Alex tells the story about how earlier in the week he flipped out at work and had to be physically held down & later goes on a date. Plus, Tommy talks heartbreak about a woman that may have been “the one,” and he let her go…

This and MUCH MUCH more.

Not Dead Yet – Show #2 “Sammy”

Bad Dates

We’re back! Show number two is here and we have an in studio guest.

Meet Our Guest Sammy
Tommy brings in a female friend to help Alex and his horrible dating life. Sammy talks about how she met Tommy at a wedding and he was hitting on her friend. Alex has a new theme song. Alex and Sammy tell some of their WORST first date stories. Sammy also gives us an inside look in to the female mind and what women really want. And the best part of the segment is when Sammy tells Alex which celebrity he most resembles.

The Sadman Diaries
Alex hits on a waitress and gets any self esteem he had ruined by an off handed comment from our guest to which Tommy says, “That might be might favorite moment from any show ever.”

The Power of Projection
Tommy and Sammy talk about how to get what you want through the power of projection. Alex claims it is all “made up” and not true and he has “horrible luck.”
