Tommy Has “WrestleMania”
For some reason, Tommy discloses that he’s going to be watching WrestleMania 33 later that night.  He also backed out of a date Friday night to watch the WWE Hall Of Fame wrestling inductions. Incredulous, Alex sits back in horror as Tommy and Ryan reminisce about wrestling days of yore.

Alex’s Secret Best Friend
Tommy invited Alex’s girlfriend, Phyllis, to the movies.  Phyllis ended up invited a few of her friends, including someone named “Garland” that she says is Alex’s “other best friend.”  Tommy bought the tickets and is under the impression Alex would foot the bill.  Before the debate on who should pay is resolved, Tommy busts out a clip from A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan where comedian Ross McCoy recaps a stunt that “Chunks” had to endure on the old show.  If you want to hear the goods on what an intern goes through on radio, you’re not going to want to miss this segment (hint, it involves pubes)

Alex Audio Clips and Ryan’s dogs
Our listeners are the best.  They never fail to capture every perverted/gross/Hitler related comment Alex makes, and mash them into grossly inappropriate perverted clips.  Uncle Vinny  hosts some of the best we’ve ever had.  Ryan is in a bit of a jam, as his wife wants to get ANOTHER dog (making a total of 5 other animals in the house).  He’s not sure how to tell her, but Tommy and Alex have a sure fire “communication method” that’s sure to hit the mark.

100th Episdoe

One Hundred Episodes

We finally made it…  100 episodes!  You wouldn’t know it though by the way Alex AGAIN starts the show before anyone else was ready to actually START the show.  The show starts with some Real Radio 104.1 memories. Then Loyal listeners and show friends alike call in with their thoughts on NDY hitting 100!  Samantha Sam from A Mediocre Time with Tom & Dan proves a little to “honest”, while show friends Geoff & Courtney prove just how creepy Alex really is.  Thank you to James Gray from WPRK, Tyronne, Uncle Vinny, Number One NDY Fan and many more (even an old Hideout alum!)

The Fleshlight

Ryan disturbingly brings up the fact that since his wife’s been traveling a lot, he’s taken to a new lover… it’s a fleshlight.  It’s a dildo you put your dick into, and Ryan thinks it’s normal.  Incredulous, Tommy and Alex can only rebut in shock, as Ryan spills the dirty details of his dirty “dildo for dudes”

99.5 – Tommy Gets Mail

mailAlex commits a federal offense
While announcing last week that there would be now show for Columbus day, Tommy and Alex decide to surprise you with a bonus half show!  Though they don’t have much planned as Alex decided to open a package delivered to his house… addressed to Tommy.  Alex opened the package before Tommy gets to his house. Find out why Tommy gets so angry.

Don’t take Alex out to the Ballgame
After Alex’s dad surprises him with Washington National’s playoff tickets, Alex decides to get hammered before the game and totally make of ass out of himself.  Quick summary, it involves a fan from the opposite team, a homosexual couple and Alex attempting to help a man find “True Love.”

91 – Better Luck UpChuck

Good Luck UpChuckChris D’elia

Tommy and Alex give their review of Chris D’elia as well as their experience at the DC Improv.  Though Chris was great, and provided a completely unheard set, the Improv itself might have a few things to work on. Plus, Tommy talks about the hilarious movie “Slow Learners.”

Chunks/Chucks From the Hideout

Over the past 2 weeks, “Chunks” and “Chucks from the Hideout” were mentioned on A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan and Real Radio 104.1. Tommy takes Alex/Alan/Chunks/Chucks to task for going on other shows to promote their old radio show instead of Not Dead Yet.

Alex’s Non-cation & 80’s hits.

Alex had a vacation… In typical Chunks fashion, it was a horrible miserable time, complete with a woman bossing him around, making him spend hundreds of dollars on a “FREE” vacation and nude underage girls. Plus, there was a situation in the bathroom. The only thing that can make it better is a deeply logical discussion of the best 80’s songs and tv shows.

81 – Matt’s Wedding

Matt's WeddingOrlando, Florida
Tommy and Alex are back from FL.  Tommy starts off right away with a clip from his “media tour” when he stopped in on Gray Matter with James Gray.  Of course, it’s really just Tommy and James making fun of Alex for not flying down to Florida on time.  Tommy points out that Alex also chose not to come into town for Matt’s bachelor party.  Alex tries to defend himself, but just ends up rambling and looking even more like the fat loser he is.  Tommy continued to boast about his media tour which included recording some bits with the great Dickerman and check out A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan‘s amazing new studio.  Speaking of which, you’ll want to hear who T&D think Alex looks like.

Matt’s Wedding
The big day has finally arrived for their old friend and it DID not disappoint.  The wedding was jam packed with craziness including Alex getting in the way, Tommy’s best man’s speech, old show co-worker Sid hitting on Alex’s girlfriend, hitting on Alex, hitting on Tommy, hitting on the cross-dresser, etc.  Probably one of the best, most extravagant weddings that Tommy and Alex have been to, Ryan gets a bit upset that they seemed to completely have forgotten that HE had a wedding just mere months ago, which they both attended.  OH, and between all of this, our friend of 13 years got married.  This wedding recap will NOT disappoint.

53 – “Curious Gays” by Chunks from the Hayaway

Tommy & Matt at EDBDTommy’s star treatment in Florida
Tommy is back from vacationing and doing radio work in Orlando, Florida. While he was there, he attended WJRR’s Earthday Birthday festival featuring Slash, Rise Against and Five Finger Death Punch. Alex is mad he wasn’t invited and Tommy rubs in his face the fact that he hung out with rock stars, Dickerman, Matt Albert and Tom and Dan. Tommy also rubs in the fact that everyone continues to call Alex by his old radio name, “Chunks.” Unfortunately, Tommy ended up in the hospital while on vacation… find out why.

Alex Defiles a Neighbor’s Apartment
Tommy talks about how he would pay extra for an airline that didn’t allow children and talks about the hellish trip back with a screaming baby and a juggalo. Then Alex talks about the time he almost died due to an allergic reaction and his father didn’t care. Uncle Vinny joins the show to talk about Alex’s book. Plus, Alex finally gets his tub fixed and then does the most disgusting, disrespectful thing ever in his neighbor’s apartment.

25 – Samantha Sam

SamanthaAlex Corolla For Governor 2016
Tommy is going to Boston for a week – Alex, being from Upstate New York, makes it known how much he hates Boston. This leads to Tommy claiming Alex hates everyone and is racist. Alex went on another OkCupid emailing spree. After emailing 15 women in an hour, Tommy tells Alex he should calm down and take a step back. Alex thinks that’s “a challenge” and deletes his profile.

Tommy FINALLY saw Top Gun. He is amazed and impressed that 30 years later, Tom Cruise looks the EXACT same, meanwhile, everyone else in the movie looks TERRIBLE. He wonders if it’s plastic surgery, genetics or the power of Scientology. He and Alex debate whether looking and aging as well as Tom Cruise is worth joining the crazy Church of Scientology.

Hey Nothing… Get Some Confidence
From our Orlando, Florida trip… Get to know Samantha from A Mediocre Time With Tom and Dan. We talk about Alex’s past OkCupid dates (especially Big Bad Mama), Samantha gives Alex some pointers on what he’s doing wrong with women, how she started with Tom and Dan, how our old show played a small part in her getting married and a few behind the scenes stories. Samantha was fantastic (as usual) on the show and super funny.

24 – Comedian Ross McCoy

Comedian Ross McCoyMatch.com Plays A Joke on Alex

Last week, Alex said his Match.com membership was finally running out and he was “free” from the online dating horrors. When Tommy asks how he feels without Match.com in his life, Alex gets upset. Apparently, Match.com isn’t through with Alex just yet…

In what might be one of the most offensive segments we’ve ever done, Tommy plays clips from past Sadman Diaries (real life disaster stories from Alex’s journal) and notices that the things Alex says and believes sound a lot like a famous mass murderer. Listen to the side-by-side comparison for yourself. And then Alex gets serious and gives a touching speech about remembering D-Day and all those that have served our country.

Ross McCoy

From our recent Orlando, FL trip, Comedian Ross McCoy from A Mediocre Time With Tom and Dan stops by our hotel and chats with us for over an hour. The guys recap the troubles Tommy encountered on the plane trip to Orlando (it involves pooping, smelly passengers and Tommy getting pissed off, slamming down the arm rest), WTKS show memories and how we first met Ross, working with Tom and Dan, becoming a comedian, making jokes about toast funny, transcendental meditation and TONS more.

23 – Dickerman and Matt Albert

fourhorsemenThe Orlando Vacation Recap
Tommy and Alex are back from their vacation with brand new equipment and recap their trip. Topics include their visit to A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan, getting the VIP treatment with the “Prince of Sanford,” hanging out with Dickerman, how they have more friends in Orlando than where they currently live, women in Florida are the most attractive women in the world and the arguments/yelling match they had with other passengers on the plane ride home.

The Four Horsemen Podcast
Tommy and Alex are joined by former co-worker Matt Albert and Dickerman from WJRR. This is Tommy’s dream come true.

  • Tommy and Matt fill Dickerman in on why women hate Alex
  • Matt and Alex argue and Dickerman tries to mend their relationship
  • While visiting, Alex has an unpleasant run in with Moira from the Philips Phile
  • Dickerman talks about the time he was fired for a day
  • Tommy and Dickerman talk about behind-the-scenes of the show they did together The Last Resort
  • Dickerman tells a never before told story about Tommy. Tommy describes it as “the most embarrassing story ever.” Let’s just say it involves nudity and work computers

Enjoy.
